Half Term

Class 4 have been very busy over this last half term. We have written stories set in New Zealand, play scripts and haiku poems. We have covered many topics in maths including multiplying 2 digit by 2 digit numbers, fractions and decimals.

In science we have been leaning about the body. we have conducted lots of investigations including making poo! We also had a visit from the dental nurse and got to see what our teeth will look like if we don't clean them properly.

We have been extremely fortunate to have Colchester United FC come into school and carry out football coaching sessions, we even had the chance to meet Eddie the Eagle (the mascot).
Homework:
Write an entry for the 500 word competition on radio 2.
Book review in the back of your reading journal.
Active learn task.

    I will set Abacus maths now for you.
    You can enter the 500 words straight onto the bbc radio2 website or you can write it out, bring it in and I will help you to edit it if you want me to.
