Welcome back!

Happy New Year to you all, I hope it has been a restful break.

It has been lovely to have the children back in school today, they have all been full of enthusiasm and excitement in order to get themselves going with their new topic around the theme of New Zealand.

From next week we will have Colchester United coming into school on a Tuesday to lead football sessions for our PE. We will be writing stories set in New Zealand and linking maths into the topic where possible.

If anybody has any artifacts/photographs etc from New Zealand that they would like to share with the class that would be very much appreciated.

This afternoon the children were introduced to their new topic and seem thrilled to be learning about another culture from so far away.

In science we will be looking at human bodies and how they work.
