Fun with Green Screen in Class 4!

It has been a quiet week in Class 4 with the Year 5 children away enjoying their trip to Hilltop, however, that has not stopped us, we have certainly been busy and had lots of fun!

As we could not all go on a trip to Greece, we brought the Ancient Greek ruins to us through the amazing Green Screen Technology on our school i-Pads.  The children had to search for an image using Goggle search, save it and put it into the Green Screen App.  When they then focused the camera against a Green Screen, it placed them next to their chosen image.  Here are some of the images that the children produced and also a couple of snaps from 'behind the scenes 'of the Green Screen production so you can see it in action.

As you can see we all had great fun and it certainly taught me that many children in Year 4 are not camera shy! We look forward to welcoming our Year 5 classmates back on Monday and we will be teaching them how to use Green Screen next week.

Have a lovely weekend,

Mrs McMillan

  1. Wow, I love it! Year 4, you can teach the Year 5s what you have learnt about green screening. You all look so professional.
