Super Science and Perfect Parkour
Our work on place value has continued in maths and we have started to look at word problems and problem solving. We will be continuing this into next week and will begin work on roman numerals.
Theme has been a source of real excitement and interest in the class as we have finish our Saxon posters and started looking at what it was like to live in a Saxon village.
Science is a subject that I love to teach and the children have really enjoyed it too. The year fours have been looking at electrical circuits whilst the year fives have been experimenting with friction.
Notices:- Spellings have been handed out to the children to learn in preparation for a test in the last week before half term. Included on this list are the spelling patterns which we will be looking at in class, these will not be tested and are not expected to be learnt at home but any amount of extra work will help.
- Maths homework has also be handed to the children in the form of CGP targeted maths books. This homework will be set every Friday and will be due in on the following Thursday.
- I will be setting up and issuing bug club tasks next week.

I loved doing dance with Mrs Martin especially the wobble dance because it was so jazzy and wobbly! I liked science because we were experimenting friction by rolling a car down a ramp with different surfaces. JB
